Birtle Riding Centre - riding lessons, livery, indoor school hire

The Birtle Riding Centre provides riding for children and young adults with special needs and everyone enjoys the rapport that exists between the voluntary helpers, the riders and the riding school owners.

The charity "Birtle and Rochdale Riding for Special Needs" raises funds to support these riders and is always looking for helpers to walk alongside the riders and help with the socials and administration of the group. Please contact the Riding School if you would like to join and be a part of this fun group.

Birtle and Rochdale Riding for Special Needs needs you!!

We are looking for volunteers to walk beside and generally assist horse/pony riders with a varierty of special needs.

This takes place 4 or 5 times a week during daytime and evenings, in the indoor school and out on the bridleways, weather permitting. No horse/pony experience necessary, but helpers need to be reasonably fit.Training will be given.
