The Birtle Riding
Centre is run by Harry and Christine Brennan and Sally Ashworth.
The centre caters for beginners to advanced riders, including
the provision of facilities for
riders with special needs.

Rides through the village, and further
when time permits, provide miles of access through designated bridleways
free from traffic. Riding can take you to places difficult to find
when walking and provide spectacular views of our Lancashire countryside.
Indoor, all weather facilities are also available.

The Birtle Riding Centre also provides
riding for children and young adults with special needs and everyone
enjoys the rapport that exists between the voluntary helpers, the
riders and the riding school owners. The charity "Birtle
and Rochdale Riding for Special Needs" raises funds to support these
riders and is always looking for helpers to walk alongside the riders
and help with the socials and administration of the group. Please
contact the Riding School if you would like to join and be a part
of this fun group.
